Leslie Stifelman, Music Supervisor

Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute presents a definitive look at

Carmina Burana performed by New York City High School students.

Leslie is honored to return next season to Carnegie Hall for The Carmina Burana Choral Project, featuring a mass choir of 200 high school singers and 50 middle school singers from all over New York City with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s conducted by David Robertson. In addition, three high school–aged composers will be selected to write new works for chorus and orchestra based on the musical themes of Carmina Burana. These new works will be premiered on the first half of the program.
