THE TOO HOT TO HANDEL PROJECT is a citywide choral initiative conceived and developed by Leslie in partnership with the Weill Music Institute. A mass choir of over 200 New York City High School students will perform with Maestra Alsop and the Baltimore Symphony in Carnegie Hall.  Some of the schools will also be showcasing a musical masterpiece recreated by students incorporating their own ideas and musical tastes.
